Terms for in-home and venue nights

The short version

• In-home nights must be booked at least 7 days ahead.
• Every booking and order is paid in full when you make it.
• Once your booking or order is received it cannot be cancelled and is not refundable.
• If we have to cancel, we offer you another date or a full refund.
• Nothing here takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

In-home paella and pizza nights

1. Booking ahead. In-home nights must be booked at least 7 days before the date. Our calendar only offers dates that meet this rule and have one of our cooks free.

2. Payment. Your booking is paid in full when you book, through our secure booking system.

3. No cancellations. Once your booking is received it cannot be cancelled and is not refundable, including if fewer people attend than booked.

4. Who is booked. Pricing is per person and everyone eating must be included in the booking. Paella night is a minimum of 8 guests. Pizza night is a minimum of 8 adults (10 years and over); children under 10 are booked at the under 10 price for half a pizza and do not count towards the minimum. Extra pizzas are for booked guests only and cannot be used to feed people who are not booked.

5. More people on the night. If more people are eating on the night than are booked, we charge the difference: $45 for each extra adult and $25 for each extra child under 10. We send a payment link for it, payable within 7 days.

6. Your property. You give us the correct address, safe access for our cook and a flat outdoor space near the kitchen to cook. Tell us about gate codes, parking and anything else we need to know when you book. If we cannot safely reach or cook at the property on the night, the booking is treated as received and is not refundable.

7. Our time with you. Our cook arrives about 30 minutes before the time you chose and is with you for up to two hours.

8. Paella pans. Paella pans and trivets stay at the property to cool and we collect them the next day from the place you tell us. Please look after them until then. Lost or damaged equipment may be charged at replacement cost.

Partner venue nights

9. Ordering. Food at partner venue nights is ordered and paid for on your phone, either as a pre-order with a pickup time or by joining the queue on the night. Food is sold until the night’s limit is reached.

10. No cancellations. Once your order is received it cannot be cancelled and is not refundable. Please collect it at your pickup time, or when we text you that it is ready. Orders not collected by the end of the night are not refunded.

11. Pickup times. We cook in pickup time order, then the queue. We do our best to have your food ready at your time; on a busy night it may take a few minutes longer.

12. Your details. We use your name, mobile and email only to manage your order and text you when it is ready. The venue does not receive your details.

For both

13. If we cancel. If we have to cancel, for example because of a Total Fire Ban, extreme weather, illness or something outside our control, we offer you another date or a full refund. We are not responsible for other costs you may have.

14. Allergies and dietary needs. Tell us about allergies and dietary needs when you book or order. Our gluten free, dairy free and nut free options are prepared with care, but our food is made in a kitchen that also handles gluten, dairy, nuts and other common allergens, so we cannot guarantee any dish is free of traces.

15. Prices. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

16. Your rights. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
