About the venue

A community venue in the heart of Yankalilla

Lot 50 sits at 64 Main Street, Yankalilla, right in the centre of town. It is a community-focused venue we partnered with for our Fleurieu Peninsula pasta, dumpling and gnocchi classes. It is the kind of place that gets used by the town for everything from yoga to small functions, and we love that our class is part of that mix.

The class itself runs across a working bench inside. We bring all the kit. At the end of class you get a glass of wine or gin and a small sample. It is not a long-lunch venue, the way Bungala House is, and we do not pretend it is. The point is the cook and the people you are cooking next to.

What runs here

Pasta Like Nonna Makes, Dumplings and Gnocchi (seasonal). Same hands-on format as our other venues, compact in time and scaled for a community space.

Common questions

FAQs about Lot 50

Is Lot 50 wheelchair accessible?

Lot 50 is a mostly level site with indoor and outdoor spaces. Access to the main workshop and cafe area is relatively flat, but as with many older or creative spaces there may be small steps or thresholds. If you use a wheelchair or mobility aid, please contact us so we can confirm the current layout for your specific class and offer guidance on access.

Do all venues have heating and air conditioning?

All venues we work with have a combination of heating, cooling, or good ventilation to keep guests comfortable in most seasons. As some spaces are heritage or semi-open, we encourage guests to dress in layers suitable for South Australian coastal and wine region weather. If there are any specific notes about a venue, we include them in the event information.

Is shade or shelter available at the venues?

Yes. All class locations provide indoor or under cover spaces so the experience is not dependent on direct sun or rain. Where gardens and outdoor areas are used, we also have access to sheltered spaces for comfort and safety if the weather changes.
