Taking on the Ritz High Tea

Fleurieu Food and Wine are taking on the Ritz and delivering the ultimate High Tea event for you and up to 20 friends.  Enjoy a slice of the finest British tradition with our ‘Taking on the Ritz High Tea’.

You’ll receive a selection of finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked cakes and a mouth-watering range of exquisitely presented pastries and teacakes.  Plus a glass of bubbles to add some extra sparkle to the occasion.

All served in your home or accommodation.

This flexible private event caters from as few as four people up to 20! Our unique event style means that we can come to you, no wasted time holiday driving to different locations or need for a designated driver!

Taking on the Ritz High Tea: $65 per person inc GST.

Sample Menu (changes seasonally)

Sandwiches

  • Grain fed beef, mustard mayonnaise, rocket
  • Smoked Atlantic salmon, horseradish, chervil, capers
  • Chicken, sour cream, mango and walnuts
  • Cucumber, crème fraiche, dill

Cakes & Scones

  • Traditional scones, strawberry jam, thickened cream
  • Fig, date, mixed spice scones with vanilla mascarpone
  • Selection of muffins – cinnamon – berry & almond – apple & walnut
  • Mini quiche with smoked chicken, baby spinach, ricotta

Sweets

  • Chilli chocolate grenache tart
  • Passionfruit panna cotta
  • Mini lemon meringue tarts

Tea/Coffee

  • Selection of English breakfast, lady grey, earl grey, peppermint, chamomile & green tea or beautiful Veneziano coffee.

Added Extra’s

  • Selection of Australian Cheeses with muscatels, red wine onion jam, fruit & crackers (additional $7.50pp)
  • Additional wine and cocktails price available on request

Fleurieu Food and Wine is owned and operated by Jackie and John Mazzocato, locals with a love of all things food and wine! Jackie and John are a carefully curated pairing. John has over 40 years of experience in the wine industry, and Jackie has a passion for cooking and vast experience in recipe development and curation. With a wealth of good humour and expert knowledge, the tasting events they run are truly special, and approachable for anyone. Carefully selected pairings with layered flavours and house made accompaniments, your palates will be awakened and your tastebuds delighted!
