Booking FAQs for our cooking classes

Quick answers for guests searching the best cooking classes in Adelaide and South Australia, including the Fleurieu Peninsula and McLaren Vale.

How do I book a Fleurieu Food and Wine cooking class?

Choose a date on this page, open the class you want, and complete checkout to secure your spot. If a date shows SOLD OUT, select another date or explore similar classes on our events list.

See the schedule on this page or browse all events.

Where are your cooking classes held near Adelaide?

We are a mobile cooking school based on the Fleurieu Peninsula, hosting classes at regional venues just over an hour from Adelaide. Depending on the class, you may join us in Yankalilla and the Fleurieu, at a distillery in Hindmarsh Valley, or at a winery in McLaren Vale.

Your class listing will confirm the venue before you book.

Are these Adelaide cooking classes or Fleurieu Peninsula cooking classes?

Both, in the way travellers search. Many guests look for “Adelaide cooking classes” and choose us because it is an easy day trip from the city, but our experiences take place in the Fleurieu Peninsula and nearby wine regions. You get a hands-on cooking class plus a regional mini getaway.

Which class should I choose if I am visiting McLaren Vale or the Fleurieu Peninsula?

If you are already planning time in McLaren Vale or the Fleurieu, choose the class that matches your holiday vibe:

  • Pasta for a joyful, hands-on classic that suits beginners.
  • Mozzarella for an interactive, fun session with take-home cheese.
  • Hibachi steak for fire cooking, premium produce, and a longer lunch-style experience.
  • Sausage making for a craft-focused class with a relaxed shared meal.

All dates and locations are listed on this schedule.

How are you different to other Adelaide cooking school?

Whilst there are other cooking schools in Adelaide and regional South Australia Fleurieu Food and Wine is the leader and the current Awards winner in the 2025 Tourism Awards and a Finalist in the Australian Tourism Awards for excellence in Food Tourism. Our 5 star ratings is testament to this. Our guests like our classes because we are more than just a class hosted by chefs and local food personalities we host in different regional venues across the Fleurieu Peninsula and nearby wine areas. Guests choose us when they want a hands-on cooking class that also feels like a short escape from the city, with a strong South Australian produce focus and a relaxed, small-group atmosphere.

If you want a food experience that doubles as a Fleurieu day trip, you are in the right place.
